Construction Line Erase All ( Modeling or Drawing Editor > press c x )

Tool summary :

  • Deletes all construction lines that are in your current view ( Modeling ) or on shown layers ( Drawing Editor ).
  • In multi-user Modeling environments, any construction lines that are in your current erection view can be seen by you only, and therefore they will be erased for you alone.
  • Construction lines on drawings are not plotted .

   Step-by-step instructions :

The following instructions assume that you are using a 3-button mouse.

1 . Invoke Erase All Construction Lines using any one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1 : Click the Erase All Construciton Lines icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Model -- Construction Lines ' ( Modeling ) or ' Objects -- Construction Lines ' ( Drawing Editor ) and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Model > Construction Lines > Erase All . When " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', choose Objects > Construction Lines > Erase All .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Erase All Construction Lines can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface . The default keyboad shortcut for erasing construction lines is c x ).

Method 5 : While Construction Line Mode mouse bindings are active, hold down the Ctrl key and right-click ( Erase All ).

2 . An ok-cancel confirmation dialog opens. On it is the statement, "You are erasing all construction lines. Is this OK? "

Alternative 1 : Press the " OK " button at the bottom of the dialog box to erase all of the construction lines that are on shown layers (not on hidden layers) in your current Drawing Editor drawing file or all that exist in your current Modeling view. Go to step 3.

Alternative 2 : Press the " Cancel " button to end the Erase All Construction Lines operation and keep everything as it was before step 1. Do not continue.

3 . Erase All Construction Lines erases all construction lines in your current view or on shown layers in your current drawing. The mouse bindings that were active before you invoked Erase All Construction Lines are again active.
